Common Name – Hidcote lavender – Hidcote is a compact dwarf growing lavender, with brilliant blue spikes through spring and summer. It makes for a great dwarf lavender border in front of many higher growing hedge varieties, such as Choisya, Marraya and Buxus.

|Trim Lavenders back to one quarter of their full height after flowering in autumn. This prevents the centre from becoming woody. If you do this, you will get many happy years without having to replace your lavender.
