Common Name – Creeping Salt Bush – A very low maintenance, compact and hardy shrub with soft silvery coloured foliage. Grows well in full sun to light shade in most soil types with good drainage. Frost and drought tolerant and grows particularly well in coastal areas. Creeping Salt Bush is an excellent short hedge or border plant that is suitable for rockeries. It will create a thick short hedge in the most difficult positions and is great shelter for small creatures like lizards and birds. It can be pruned to shape or left to grow naturally.
